Our jungle survivals in Guyana have been successfully run in Guyana for over 15 years. As one of the first true jungle survival experiences out there we take you in to the unspoiled wildlife rich jungles of Guyana. This is no holiday, but you will have some of the best experiences of your life with us!
And while this course is not for the faint of heart we do put you trough several different phases taught by our expert indigenous guides.
Itinerary Summary
We cover all the basics of Jungle survival including fire, shelter, water and food with a many more advance skills including navigation, trapping, river crossing, isolation phase, hunting and bow and arrow a fishing. Below you will find a summary of the itinerary.

Arrive in Guyana
Fly to Georgetown where we meet up at the designated hotel! We will have some time to meet and get to know each other before we travel in to the interior.
Survive the Isolation
For the next 12 days you will train and put in to practice all the survival skills that we will teach you and at the end you will get tested in our 48 hour isolation phase
Trip in to the interior
We travel in to the interior by a chattered small propeller aircraft, 4x4 and small motorized boat. and sleep 1 night in a jungle lodge.
Training Phase
The first few days we will focus on the basics while still have access to simple buildings and facilities. We will also learn about survival psychology, dangers and the local wildlife.
Day 3 - 6
Expedition Phase
After we have gotten a bit more accustomed to the surroundings we will move deeper in to the jungle. We will set up our camp and learn about building shelters, navigation, fishing and more.
Day 7 - 9
Isolation Phase
For 2 days you will go in isolation with just a few items to you disposal including your trusty machette. Do you have what it takes? Will you be able to find water, build your shelter and keep your fire going? Will you be able to find and gather your own food and get a routine going? Come join us and find out!
Day 10 - 11
Evacuation and departure
Some time during the day our team will come rescue you! We will make our way back to the lodge for evening of celebration sharing many stories and drinks together
The next day you will take your flight back home.
Day 12 - 13
Your Jungle survival course will support an indigenous community!
Our jungle survival course is done hand in hand together with the community of Surama, their indigenous guides and our expert jungle survival instructors.
At the end of our trip we will travel back to the capital Georgetown where we will sleep and have merry good time for one last night. It is up to you whether you prefer to go directly home the next day or still prefer to travel onwards. For those interested we have many more opportunities to offer and we can also facilitate overland onwards travel to Brazil, Suriname and Venezuela.
Further there are many great trips to do in Guyana including; Fishing trips, jungle (mountain) trekking trips, wildlife watching trips, trip to Kaieteur Falls, staying at an old school indigenous run cattle ranch where you get to ride in the vast savannah plains and round up cattle and so much more.
